Ré an tSolais

Hello everyone,

I’ve been really busy composing music for An Grianán Theatre, Letterkenny, Co Donegal.

This will be part of this year’s Letterkenny Trad Week 2021.

I love composing new music and this time I have also composed a song for the suite.

Ré an tSolais means the Time of Light and I am optimistic that things will get brighter in our future and I hope the music that you’ll hear will bring a little glimmer of hope to all.

Since lockdown last March, I have been walking regularly around  the shores near my home and garnering inspiration from the beauty of the nature that surrounds us all.

I also realised that the light can change the mood of a place and of people.There is nothing like the welcome of a beautiful sunrise to raise our spirits.
