I have been following the tour schedule as posted on the ALTAN site. I see by looking at the NARNA site that there is a booking in Birmingham Alabama in March of 2009.
Are there any other tour dates possible later in the year in the U.S. ?
I hope to see Altan perform live again, my wife and I were fortunate to see the show in Feb. 2007 in Knoxville Tennessee.

I am getting in touch to wish you every blessing in 2009, and to say how lovely it was to meet and perform with you and Ciaran at the end of last November - I hope you were happy with the finished product!?
It would be an honour to stay in touch and perform with you again somewhere along the way. you have a fan here, in Türkiye. It was a couple of years ago, i heard you , itching my ears softly. Then i started to explore. I came up with Altan, loved them. My profession is on english language teaching, watched a vid of yours on a dvd, understood nothing :) . Love your accent.

Been a devoted fan since hearing my first Altan album nearly 20 years ago. Brilliant. The sound of Mairead's voice is both embracing and haunting and something one can never get too much of. Cheers and all the best. Hope to see you live in Ireland someday but for now, hope to catch you in the USA on your next tour.
